Cream Cheese Filling (Blueberry Cake)

A filling forked into its own recipe per the archive's rule that accompanying components (glazes, marinades, rubs, sauces, etc.) are kept as standalone recipes. It also remains inline in Blueberry Cream Cheese Cake, where it is originally used.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) sugar
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • 1 egg

Method

  1. Beat cream cheese until very smooth. Gradually add sugar, scraping the sides of the mixing bowl well. Add vanilla and blend. Add egg and mix well.
