Chocolate Ganache (Peanut Butter Brownies)
A chocolate ganache forked into its own recipe per the archive's rule that accompanying components (glazes, marinades, rubs, sauces, etc.) are kept as standalone recipes. It also remains inline in Peanutbutter Brownies, where it is originally used.
Ingredients
- 7 ounces (200 g) bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, divided, room temperature
Method
- Stir chocolate and 1/4 cup (60 ml) butter in heavy small saucepan over low heat until smooth. Drop ganache all over frosting; spread to cover. Chill until set, about 1 1/2 hours. Do ahead Can be made 1 day ahead. Cover and keep chilled.
