Raspberry Sauce
A sauce forked into its own recipe per the archive's rule that accompanying components (glazes, marinades, rubs, sauces, etc.) are kept as standalone recipes. It also remains inline in Perfect Cheesecake, where it is originally used.
Ingredients
- 12 ounces (340 g) fresh raspberries
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) water
Method
- Place raspberries, sugar, and water in a small saucepan. Use a potato masher to mash the raspberries. Heat on medium, whisking, about 5 minutes, until the sauce begins to thicken. Remove from heat. Let cool.
