Beef Marinade (for Black Bean Stir-Fry)
A marinade forked into its own recipe per the archive's rule that glazes and marinades are kept as standalone recipes. It also remains inline in Beef with Peppers and Black Bean Sauce, where it is originally used.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tablespoons (20 ml) oyster sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons (7.5 ml) sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) ginger juice mixed with 2 teaspoons (10 ml) Shao-Hsing wine, or sherry
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) dark soy sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons (7.5 ml) sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) salt
- 1/8 teaspoon (0.5 ml) white pepper
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) cornstarch
Method
- In a large bowl, mix the marinade ingredients.
- Add the beef and allow to rest at least 30 minutes.
