Maple-Soy Salmon Marinade

maple marinade salmon

A marinade forked into its own recipe per the archive's rule that glazes and marinades are kept as standalone recipes. It also remains inline in Pepper-crusted Maple-glazed Salmon, where it is originally used.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) soy sauce

Method

  1. In a small deep bowl, or a plastic bag, mix the maple syrup and soy sauce.
  2. Arrange the fillets so that the marinade completely covers the fish.
  3. Marinate in the refrigerator for as long as possible (a minimum of 4 hours, but ideally 24 to do it justice).
  4. Turn the salmon every few hours.
