Honey-Barbequed Fish Marinade (Chinese Style)
A marinade forked into its own recipe per the archive's rule that glazes and marinades are kept as standalone recipes. It also remains inline in Honey-Barbequed Fish - Chinese style, where it is originally used.
Ingredients
- 1/4 c. (60 ml) honey
- 1/4 c. (60 ml) thin sliced green onion
- 2 tbsp. (30 ml) lime juice
- 2 tbsp. (30 ml) soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. (30 ml) hoisin sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 - 1 teaspoon (2.5-5 ml) chili sauce
- 1 tsp. (5 ml) minced fresh gingerroot
Method
- Combine all the ingredients except the fish in a small bowl and mix well.
- Place the fish in a shallow baking dish and pour the marinade over the fish.
- Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.
